In recent years, artist Nadia D’Alessio has been pursuing an artistic exploration that examines the relationship between the individual and the collective. To explore the behavioural possibilities of the individual in response to the collective models that surround it, the artist undertakes a parallel exploration of materials and compositions that can translate these theoretical analyses into an intuitive and sensory language. By drawing on the properties of materials—sometimes reduced to their most basic state—the artist creates conceptual-visual narratives that take the form of sculptures and sensory installations.

D’Alessio is an Italian artist with a degree in Sculpture from “Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera” in Milan, obtained in 2016. In the same year she moved to Berlin, where she continues her independent artistic research exploring art also in approaches far from the academic scene. Recently, she participated in group exhibitions in independent spaces between Berlin and Leipzig, moreover she collaborated with institution as T-Werk Theater in Potsdam (Germany), 2024, and House for Contemporary Culture – Marres (Netherlands), 2026.
